Andrew Williams
Born in the rural mountains of northern Pennsylvania, Andrew Williams' musical landscape is a clash of rootsy singer/songwriter and electric blues power. After picking up his dad's acoustic guitar in high school, he quickly began recording home demos with a Radio Shack mixer and laptop. Soon after, Andrew took his first gig (in a yoga studio) and the "Andrew Williams Band" was born. They released a self-titled EP and played numerous shows around the state of Florida. In 2015 the band disassembled: Andrew (now "Drew") moved to Orlando, and bandmates Casey and Mike formed psych-pop gang "Timothy Eerie”. The move from hometown DeLand to the tourist bustle of Orlando proved fruitful: at the age of 19, Drew spent two years performing in the BB King's All Star Band, sometimes performing 8-10 shows a week. Not long after, he auditioned for a touring guitarist position with Australian indie-pop artist CLOVES, landing the gig and going on to perform Late Night with Seth Meyers, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Sundance Film Festival, as well as touring North America, Europe, and Australia. Meanwhile, he has released 5 tracks: “Shadow”, “Colors”, “Betting Man”, and the most recent dual single “Pfm.Lg" on 10.25.19. His work and can be found on many other artist's tracks (Azad Murtazin, B. Cloy, Cat Ridgeway), and he continues to perform with CLOVES and local bands G.W. Souther and Timothy Eerie.
